Only a few places left on three-day photofilm (multimedia) workshops in London & Birmingham

All of our summer courses have sold out, so we’ve added two additional courses:

  •  31st August – 2nd September (Central London)
  •   14-16th September (Birmingham)

and the spaces are being snapped up fast…

“The workshop went above and beyond what I was expecting. I feel a lot more focused and motivated. It was ace to see a more honest and genuine side of the industry and to be able to talk about things openly and challenge the established views. I feel very confident to get going on my first photofilm.” Gemma Thorpe (June 2011 course)

This course is designed to teach you the skills to produce your own multimedia photofilms, taking you through the entire production process:

• How to grab the attention of an audience with your story
• Planning the steps to gather audio and photos
• Recording audio for multimedia
• New approaches to shooting for photofilms
• Interview skills
• Editing skills
• Editing software

The training is focused on getting you out on location to make a short photofilm, to put all the skills you learn into practice over the three days.

Follow this link on our website for full details of the course.

This is what the trainees on our last course had to say:

  • “Brilliant Workshop.  It has given me an understanding of how to add a whole new level of depth to my images by adding audio. Seeing what can be achieved with strong narratives, has refreshed and changed the way I will work forever. Sharing and providing his essential insiders knowledge that has been gained through years of practice and working at the top level proves that Benjamin is committed to seeing you reach your maximum potential by the end of the 3 days – and then go on to build upon his advice to succeed. I thoroughly enjoyed myself.” Alex Miler
  • “I have walked away inspired and can’t wait to start my first independent piece of work. It was a good introduction to audio and I feel confident in working by myself now. Really enjoyed the informal setting and the opportunity to candidly chat about a number of topics centred around, ethics, philosophy, process, photography, audio and journalism.” Sam Spickett
