        Exactly right, David. Beautiful, tender, respectful… Reminds me of the way that David Hurn talks about being honest to the subject.

        Ciara’s portraits also tell viewers something new about her subjects — the interiors were, for me, totally unexpected. The bits and pieces of interview material are important, as well. You can tell that she thought long and hard about this.

          I have to agree John. Ciara’s effort and respect are palpable. I’m sure she will be chuffed to be mentioned alongside David Hurn.. and quite right too imho.

      thank you all.
      This is a bit of a compromise project after I had some shitty luck and then ran out of time. It’s an idea I hope to continue exploring with a bit more attention to the photography.
      your encouragement means a lot.
