Timing.
Written by David WhiteWell, what can you say? Skills. Getting a decent snap of the solar eclipse is hard enough, but combining it with the moment that the international Space Station whizzes by takes proper effort. The ISS takes less than a second to cut across the sun from our position.
Also, as an idea of scale, the sunspot bottom right is about twice the size of earth. ( And no, that does not make the ISS mahoosive.) For an explanation, just ask Father Ted…some things are small, some are far away. And some are both 🙂
