This is essential work that deserves widespread recognition. It’s not sexy because the people in the stories are mainly working class white people but it’s a template for in depth reportage on an important subject.

Oh, graft. A wonderfully simple, yet undoubtedly successful solution to photojournalism’s funding crisis.
(And, yes, I like the work very much — especially the way that she takes the white working class seriously. Too rarely seen on my side of the Atlantic.)
