What they say about duckrabbit:

'One of the hazards of publishing a well-known photojournalism blog - getting multimedia like yours, where the photos are both powerful and moving, and I end up in tears at my desk.'

Alan Taylor, Boston Big Picture)

'David White's multimedia work with duckrabbit is very exciting.'

Kate Edwards (Guardian Magazine Picture Editor)

'I am a fan of duckrabbit. I am not a fan because I agree with everything Ben has to say, but because he says it without frills and then will spend the time necessary to engage the consequent discussions. Such commitment is a priceless commodity.'

Prison Photography

'I met one of them at an academic conference in the summer. He was the sanest person there, but sure enough by damn gadnabbit ruffled more than a few fluffed up peacock feathers.'

The Photography Pages

'If you haven't seen the duckrabbit blog on multimedia you should.'

Stephen Alvarez

'duckrabbit has done another jaw-dropping job with Condition Critical, a highly commendable and important project for Medecins Sans Frontiers.'

Pete Brook’s obvious love of life is measured in sorrow

that’s why his blog is what conscientious people would be reading,

if only they could get beyond themselves.

Don’t be put off by how important this stuff is.

STAN BANOS of Reprocity Failure fame says:

When I first learned of his site, I thought to myself- that certainly is one unique niche alright, but how the hell is he going to find enough material to keep it fresh and relevant? Well, he continues to prove me wrong each and every day…

duckrabbit agrees

I think Pete writes this stuff because he has to.  So much of what he touches on is universal.  Prison is just a metaphor for the lives so many of us are living.

Pete Brook stops by for a swift pint and to say

Cheers Stan. You wouldn’t believe the amount of material I’ve got in the tank. It’s all down to squeezing hours out of the day. But it’ll keep coming.

And of course, thanks to Duckrabbit for the support.

duckrabbit pours Pete another pint and assures him the honor is all ours.
