What they say about duckrabbit:

'One of the hazards of publishing a well-known photojournalism blog - getting multimedia like yours, where the photos are both powerful and moving, and I end up in tears at my desk.'

Alan Taylor, Boston Big Picture)

'David White's multimedia work with duckrabbit is very exciting.'

Kate Edwards (Guardian Magazine Picture Editor)

'I am a fan of duckrabbit. I am not a fan because I agree with everything Ben has to say, but because he says it without frills and then will spend the time necessary to engage the consequent discussions. Such commitment is a priceless commodity.'

Prison Photography

'I met one of them at an academic conference in the summer. He was the sanest person there, but sure enough by damn gadnabbit ruffled more than a few fluffed up peacock feathers.'

The Photography Pages

'If you haven't seen the duckrabbit blog on multimedia you should.'

Stephen Alvarez

'duckrabbit has done another jaw-dropping job with Condition Critical, a highly commendable and important project for Medecins Sans Frontiers.'

Howlett/Brunel prints, portraits and commissions.

Hi everyone. I am very touched by the warm and generous response to my Howlett camera images as featured on the Today Programme and here on the BBC website.. Thankyou all.

In response to many requests for prints of the images, I have decided to put them on my archive so that prints can be ordered. They will be available as the same size as the original contact prints, which is to say 12×10″. I don’t think there is any point in printing them any smaller, as that goes against the spirit of the project, and of Howlett’s efforts. They could be printed bigger though, and would look wonderful if they were, so larger sizes will be available.

Please be aware that the prints offered will be digital dupes, not hand printed contacts, as the originals that I printed are. Do not be put off by that fact though..the detail within them is still amazing, and the dupes are still beautiful. You could probably only tell the difference if you had both side by side. I could probably be persuaded to print more archival, toned silver halide contact prints (no enlargements on 12×10″ in that instance, for obvious reasons) if there was enough demand, though these would be a lot more expensive than the dupes.

Please go along to here to view the set and order if you so wish.

Also, due to more requests, I would like to give people the opportunity of having their picture taken with the Howlett camera. If that interests you please contact me. My contact details are on my nospin site.

I am also happy to undertake any other commissions with the camera, where practical..no shots from helicopters for example..:)

Thanks once again, it has been a joy sharing these pics with you all.
