RIVERFORD Case Study (sound required)
In 2008 Riverford Organics, the UK’s largest Organic Veg Box producer, commissioned duckrabbit to create a multimedia feature that would capture the essence of their business. Riverford already have a very successful website but they wanted duckrabbit to create something that would:
1: powerfully connect their customers with the behind the scenes passion and commitment of the business increasing their attachment to the box scheme
2: increase the numbers of people visiting their website who would sign up to receive a box
After sitting down with Guy and Rachel Watson to discuss Riverford’s business values and vision duckrabbit prepared a written outline of our proposed production.
The feature was shot and edited in consultation with Riverford during November 2008. This was Riverford’s Director of marketing, Rachel Watson’s response,
‘If most of the marketing people I deal with could grasp and express the essence of the business so quickly and effectively I would be a very happy person.’
The completed audio slideshow was used as the centerpiece of an e marketing campaign and now appears periodically on the front page of Riverford’s award winning website and permanently on their ‘about us’ page.
It has also been used as an internal communication tool so that staff, suppliers, and franchisees have a deeper grasp of the business.

Guy Watson, Riverford’s owner was so pleased with the work that he commissioned a further two slideshows from duckrabbit.
