Progressive documentary photography workshop?

Progressive eh? Well…as previously mentioned on the duck, back in 2011, Mimi Mollica and Photowrap are working on another series of online photography workshops:

“Using the power of new online tools I am offering an online photography course of three weeks in duration which will enhance your abilities as a documentary photographer.

This innovative workshop, which will enroll a maximum of 10 students at a time, is unique, reasonably-priced, and offers a one-to-one learning experience.

This course is for aspiring documentary photographers who would like to improve and to take their skills to a higher level. Over three very packed weeks and through intensive learning and personal tuition I will help you become more confident in your abilities and help you find the best way for you to tell stories using your camera.”

As I mentioned before, online teaching is not perfect, I’m not sure what type of teaching is actually, (apart, of course, from the perfectly formed duckrabbit workshops, and the obviously fine, award winning teaching going on at Falmouth University :)) but looking at the quality student work on Photowrap’s page above, it seems to be working well for Mimi’s students.

So, if you can’t make it to a perfect duck ‘shop, then let the ‘shop come to you. A bit like a Tesco delivery, but carbon neutral. And with less horse.
