I encounter and capture all sorts of unusual scenes, and then use them to make up little tales to entertain my wee boy; he likes this one……….

The little people decided to take revenge on the big people for all the terrible things they had done.
The things they did to the world, to the other big people and to all the little people too.
So one day the little people brought their cannon to the castle that the big people had built.
The big people looked at them and laughed mockingly, shouting: “HO! You are only little people. With little hearts!”
And the little people just smiled as they lined up their cannon and FIRED! and FIRED! and FIRED!
…..until the castle and all about it lay in ruins.
They took their revenge on the big people. Revenge for all the terror they had wrought upon them, and upon others.
Their little-people-trick had been a simple one…..it was only a toy cannon…….but they did not tell the big people that……..
There’s no need to kill a Volvo like that.
The crumple zones were no match for the onslaught they encountered. Sad, but true.
Damn that cannon..
Last time I heard that phrase it was spelled ‘canon’ ………..
