I Is Like Professshunall
Written by Sara TrulaNo joke. I like my gadgets and I like my software. As proof of my serious geekery, a quick tool around my studio easily reveals several Apple products, quite a bit of Nikon, various nicely branded mics, interfaces, etc., and audio editing software that includes, yes, both Logic Pro and Nuendo (4, Nuendo 4, not the crappy 5 version…)
But I have to urge Duckrabbit regulars to consider giving this little baby a try.
I haven’t used Reaper in a long while, mainly because I didn’t need to. But I’ve always recommended it to people because (a) it’s seriously solid, and (b) it’s damn bloody cheap. You can pick up a 30 day trial, then the license only costs you $60 or so. No typo folks.
Don’t be fooled by the price, though. It is a top quality piece of audio editing software and, had I not acquired Nuendo in a previous life, I’d have been a Reaper baby all the way.
I’m even thinking of heading back there very soon, as it now also supports video files.
So, you owe it to yourselves to download a trial and give it a try.
