Roger Fenton banned from World Press Awards

Roger‘s now infamous image, saved recently for the nation by the National Media Museum in Bradford, has led to the author

being banned from the World Press Awards. It has come to light that the photographer posed himself in the image “Pasha and Bayadére”, and that he tied

up one of his subjects so that she wouldn’t move. Had he been a little better at photoshop he would have probably got away with it.

Had he been a better photographer he could have had a severed head sat at the woman’s feet and a gun to her head. Just goes to show how much we’ve advanced.
