Time magazine has a great selection of photographs taken around the world of people watching the Obama inauguration.
The best of the bunch is taken by Yasuyoshi Chiba, whose stunning work in Kenya can be seen on duckrabbit’s portfolio page. Yasuyoshi took this picture in Kibera, one of Africa’s most notorious slums, and not a safe place for a Muzungu to be at night.
Nice to see a picture of Kibera bursting with warmth, reeling in hope. What a burden on one mans shoulders …
