What they say about duckrabbit:

'One of the hazards of publishing a well-known photojournalism blog - getting multimedia like yours, where the photos are both powerful and moving, and I end up in tears at my desk.'

Alan Taylor, Boston Big Picture)

'David White's multimedia work with duckrabbit is very exciting.'

Kate Edwards (Guardian Magazine Picture Editor)

'I am a fan of duckrabbit. I am not a fan because I agree with everything Ben has to say, but because he says it without frills and then will spend the time necessary to engage the consequent discussions. Such commitment is a priceless commodity.'

Prison Photography

'I met one of them at an academic conference in the summer. He was the sanest person there, but sure enough by damn gadnabbit ruffled more than a few fluffed up peacock feathers.'

The Photography Pages

'If you haven't seen the duckrabbit blog on multimedia you should.'

Stephen Alvarez

'duckrabbit has done another jaw-dropping job with Condition Critical, a highly commendable and important project for Medecins Sans Frontiers.'

The Travel Photographer

Hate this … but what do you think?

The projects called ‘Wisdom’.¬† It’s receiving widespread love. It will probably be a number one seller in America.

Basically it involves the photographer Andrew Zuckermen (and his team) traveling the world to interview famous people about what ‘wisdom’ means.¬† Nothing wrong with this except he manages to make it mind numbingly bland and boring. The misguided aesthetic of the piece takes precedence over anyone saying anything interesting in depth … its a film of coffee book soundbites for the middle class self help generation (of which I am one) …¬† Reassuring but ultimately meaningless. Perhaps I’m being unfair and the book has more depth to it.

He includes a ‘making of video’ … so actually the person you hear talking the most is Andrew Zuckerman.¬† He tells us that if you take people out of their environment, put them on a set in front of VERY bright lights then you will be able to capture their ‘essense’.¬† mmm.

You can see our own duckrabbit projects here.
